Brewatitudes is a small group gathering for folks to go deeper into issues of faith, politics, culture, theology, and justice and their intersectionality, in an informal setting. Grounded in group conversation, acknowledging wisdom and experience that each person brings, and an openness to learn more.

Join us on February 23 from 3:00 pm-4:30 pm for a conversation on Palestine and Israel. A fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hamas holds (for now) after 15 months of fighting. The conflict brings up universal themes of displacement, historical injustice, forced migrations, and intergenerational trauma. Discussion starting points:

  • What emotions are you experiencing?  Have you or those close to you experienced feelings of injustice, displacement, and oppression?

  • What have you learned about this conflict that you didn't know 15 months ago?

  • Has your faith helped guide any actions on your part? Are you looking for more guidance?

Location is The Table Public House, 2190 S. Platte River Drive If you are interested in hosting a future Brewatitudes or have a topic idea, please contact Rev. Mollie Landers Hatt.
