April 26, 11:30-12:45; May 8, 6:30-7:45; and May 17, 12:00-1:30
You are invited to join the Lakewood UCC community in an exploration of The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World. Serviceberry is a follow-up to Braiding Sweetgrass, by scientist and Indigenous author Robin Wall Kimmerer. The discussion is hosted by Faith Formation, Care for Creation, and Love Leads. The three-part conversation will explore the themes of reciprocity and abundance; the forming of relationships based on accountability, mutual love, respect, and shared responsibility. We will consider abundance and reciprocity in the natural world, our personal life, and the congregational life of Lakewood UCC.
